Description

Collage by Jérôme Malpel

Facade of a concert hall in an industrial environment being converted in Greenpoint, New York.
The building is structured by large concrete posts which carry the roof accessible to the public. By its size, it imitates the surrounding industrial buildings. Up close, the brick facing slightly envelops the building and covers its structure with soft and supple curves. This refinement testifies to the preciousness of what it shelters: a beautiful concert hall and recording and rehearsal studios.
In collaboration with Elvire Amoura and Antoine Collet (2012).

Paper: Hahnemühle William Turner 310g/mA
