Description
This collage is part of a series preparatory to the design of a video titled “Space Oddity”, in reference to the title of David Bowie. The video takes the form of a tracking shot on the skyline of Shinjuku district in Tokyo, from which emerges the disturbing silhouette of the town hall designed by Kenzo Tange. The collages are initially concentrated on Tange buildings built in Japan and abroad.
