Description

Hand drawing by Martijn van Berkum

This drawing is part of the series Non-Functional Structures. It is a project in which Martijn van Berkum draws architecture and 3D constructions in the same way as Carl Linnaeus classified plants and animals. He studies and collect different kinds of structures, identifies their charac-teristics and translate them into drawings. These drawings are then ordered in classes, fami-lies and species. All drawings fall under the general kingdom of Non-functional Structures and this particular drawing is part of the class Ambiguous Structures.
