A2 — Floater frame
à Sissable – Claude Parent
690,00€
Description
Claude Parent liked the free and fluid movement of the brush and ink on paper. His ink drawings are dynamic and symbolic expressions of the oblique function, closer to Japanese calligraphy than to architectural drawing. This drawing shows the oblique function in its original and essential expression: a confluence of slopes and counter-slopes, without forgetting human presence.
Claude Parent (1923–2016), France
Claude Parent redefined architecture through his “oblique function,” developed with Paul Virilio, introducing slope and movement as fundamental principles. His drawings express a radical vision where space dominates form, influencing generations of architects beyond the built work.
