Description

From hand drawing — A3 — Unframed

“Jen reads in the entrance of Bauhaus building. 31.10.14 pm.”
Iris Lacoudre and Jennifer Heinfeld settle a residency in the Bauhaus, Dessau (Germany), during the autumn 2014. They live and work in the former school of Walter Gropius, which became a monument of modern architecture, between the former metal workshop, the canteen, the theatre and the entrance. The drawing traces a moment in the entrance, facing the curtain wall. Contemporary landscape, lived and experienced beyond its monumentality.
