Muoto is an architecture office based in Paris launched in 2003 after winning the Europan competition. The office mixes today scientific knowledge with artistic/visual skills to explore different fields: architecture, urban planning, design and scientific research. The office has won the price Naja (Nouveaux Albums des Jeunes Architectes et Paysagistes) in 2008. Its works has been shown at the Graz Biennale (CH), Copenhagen, Rotterdam, and many other international events related to cities, architecture and numerical arts. Muoto means shape in Finnish. Represented by Gilles Delalex and Yves Moreau, the office won the Equerre d’Argent in 2016 (French Architecture Award) for its building “Lieu de vie”, in Saclay university, south west of Paris.
