Description
Vento is based on the idea of creating a landmark building on the top of the spectacular Atlantic Cliff of Sagres in Portugal.
Studio Orto designed this building as a landscape experience in order to make perceptible the authenticity of the place. The building is a broken line inspired by the sharp edges of the old military fortresses.
Every side of the broken line has a specific facade with a specific interior space that allows to focus on the different parts of the landscape: the Ocean, the wind, the rocks, the lighthouse and city of Sagres.
This building is a covered path, to walk and discover, isolating in different rooms what makes this place so unique.
